Kahala Home Sales in 2011

In 2011, there were 45 homes that sold in Kahala with an average sales price of $1,968,293. The average days on market for the homes that sold was 93 days, which is brisk compared to the 147 day average of today's active inventory. Unlike 2010, that saw Genshiro Kawamoto's purchases of $22 million and $17 million, 2011's highest sales were much more modest as the following three sales took the top spots:

1. 4292 Kahala Ave. Sold for $4.9 Million
2. 4620 Kahala Ave. Sold for $4.2 Million
3. 4504 Kahala Ave. Sold for $4.1 Million

All three sales were non-oceanfront and none broke the $5 million mark. There is only one listing today available that is oceanfront in Kahala, which happens to be 4461 Kahala Ave. It will be interesting to see what 2012 has in store for the Kahala Real Estate market...
