Kalele Kai is a marinafront complex in Hawaii Kai comprised of three buildings, six stories high and an additional building on the marinafront with multi-level townhomes. There's a secured, gated entry for privacy and ample guest parking. The units come with covered parking and they all have nice high ceilings. All three buildings have a nice common area and the pool and BBQ area are center stage. The units that are available and tend to fetch the higher prices have views of the marina. The least desireable are the ones on the backside of the building and overlook the neighboring Hawaii Kai Shopping Center, where you'll find all types of conveniences including Safeway, Long's Drugs, several restaurants and a satellite clinic for Queen's Hospital.
The Kalele Kai product and lifestyle is a great value in my opinion. Considering the new addition of Hale Ka Lae across the street is being marketed as a luxury product, twice the price of Kalele Kai (and not even on the water), I don't think you can go wrong here in the long run.
