Neighborhood information about Koko Head Terrace: Koko Head Terrace encompasses basically all the homes on your right as you drive on Lunalilo Home Road off Kalanianaole Hwy. heading back towards Mariners Valley, on the Koko Crater side of the street. They were originally like "track" homes that were built in the late 1960's to early 1970's that were roughly 1,000 sq. ft. under roof on average. Since then, many have been remodeled. Some have expanded with second stories, while others have been torn down to build new. Most of the zoning is R-5 and lots are typically hovering around 6,000 square feet. Some have views of the marina and possible ocean views.
What is great about Koko Head terrace is it's probably one of the most affordable neighborhoods into the single family market of Hawaii Kai outside of maybe Kalama Valley and can be more affordable than some of the condo projects in the area.
