Kahala is one of Honolulu's most well known luxury neighborhoods, where single family homes start at $1 million for a tear-downn and go up to $20-30 million plus for an oceanfront estate. For those that want something with less maintenance and costs less money, yet want to be in "the" location, a Condo or Townhome in Kahala may be your best bet.
There are several options when it comes to Kahala Condos. There are oceanfront condos at the Kahala Beach Apartments for those that are looking for lifetyle. There are several townhome projects near the mall, noteably of which are Waialae Gardens, Tropic Gardens and Tropicana Village. All three were built around the same era and have similar floor plans. You then have high-rises such as Kahala Towers and The Regency at Kahala. The Regency has to be one of the most upscale of them all and is one of just a handful of buildings in Honolulu that has a doorman. You also have two more gated projects tucked back inland with Kahala View Estates and Kahala Pacific.
