Short sales on Oahu were almost no where to be seen between the mid 1990's and 2000's. As the market started to turn in 2006 and 2007, short sales have become a large makeup of residential resales on Oahu.The majority of short sales have tended to be out west in markets such as the Ewa Plain, Kapolei and Waianae, however they can also be found in Honolulu and Windward Oahu.
