Whale Watching

Maui is also home to the humpback whales that come in the winter. Lahaina, which was once a whaling town up until the 1800's was also once the state capitol of Hawaii prior to Honolulu. If you're anywhere near the ocean on a surfboard, SUP, canoe, sail boat or better yet a Hawaiian sailing canoe, you're in for a treat during the winter! Heaps of snowbirds (Canadians and US Mainlanders) flock to Maui for the winter to take advantage of the warm weather and cherish Maui as 2nd home owners.

Surfing

Peahi or "Jaws" was put on the map by Laird Hamilton and has been the epicenter for town in surfing, kite boarding, foilboarding and more... who knows what legends like he Robby Naish and Kai Lenny will come up next in their backyard?

Golf

Maui is home to the Kapalua PGA tournament every year. In addition to Kapalua, there are other legendary courses throughout the island in Kaanapali, Wailea and the King Kamehameha course in Wailuku. There's some incredible real estate fronting a number of these courses.
