In addition to the open beam ceiling, what's nice about this one is the original woodwork is still exposed and not painted or drywalled over. Similar to Ossipoff, Alfred Preis was conscious of natural air flor through a home and jalousie windows were strategically used. Air Conditioning was not as common back then and Manoa in particular is naturally a bit cooler.

What I love about the exterior of this home is the mid century modern lines. This style is harder to find around Honolulu these days. Given the architecture, style, location and price, I don't anticipate this listing sitting on the market long.
