Over the past week, I’ve noticed a number of new listings coming on the market with Mid-Century Modern architecture, which is a passion my wife & I have had over the past few years. We’re in the process of remodeling a home designed by Alfred Preis (who designed the Arizona Memorial & the entrance to the Honolulu Zoo) that we purchased last year. Hawaii’s most prominent Mid-Century Modern architect was Vladimir Ossipoff. Almost 2 years ago, I wrote a blog post on Active Rain about Ossipoff and have since gotten many inquiries from buyers specifically looking for Ossipoff homes for sale. So, I figured I’d create a page to showcase Mid Century Modern homes. For the purpose of this, I won’t specifically limit to Ossipoff homes, however will showcase anything with that look/era.
