The Regency at Kahala is definitely the most luxurious buildings of the highrises in Kahala. I was fortunate to have the pleasure of living here for a year in 1990. It is one of only a handful of buildings in Honolulu where you have a doorman to greet you. Most of the units come with covered parking. In addition to having a nice swimming pool, it's one of the few buildings I can think of on Oahu where you have views of a lot of swimming pools in people's back yards in the neighboring single family homes in Kahala.

A good number of the units at the Regency have ocean and Diamond Head views. Some have views of Koko Head and Hawaii Kai, while others have nice mountain views. Prices of condos here have double over the past decade, which doesn't surprise me as it's a great value. You have all the conveniences of Kahala Mall without having to even cross the street.
