Executive Centre is a mixed use condominium complex in Downtown Honolulu. In addition to full time residents of the building, some of the units are used as office spaces. Meanwhile, others are rented out as short term rentals through the hotel pool, which is managed by Aston Hotels. Aston has also been contracted by the AOAO to be the property manager of the whole complex. Of the 40 stories, the first 12 are unsecured and accessed through one series of elevators, while floors 13 and higher have a separate set of elevators you need security key fob to access the floors. In addition, there are lots of security cameras and onsite security staff.
Although the convenience of living downtown may be apparent, some of the additional features Executive Centre has to offer is an on site swimming pool, hot tub and common laundry facilities. Hukilau restaurant is located in the main lobby. Ride up the escalator to Hotel Street and you have Long's Drug Store there without having to cross the street. Safeway is the nearest supermarket just a few blocks away.
The majority of the units are 1 bedrooms, however there are also studios. On occasion, you'll find a 2 bedroom that someone was able to reconfigure. If you're considering Downtown living at an affordable price and don't mind leasehold ownership (which is more difficult to finance), perhaps Executive Centre is the place to be.
