The Diamond Head Ambassador is a unique property on the Gold Coast. It seems to stick in a lot of people's heads due to the unique architecture of the building. It has an asian "flare" or feel to it with bridges connecting the 3 buildings. As mentioned above, it is a co-op and it was also leasehold for a very long period until the association bought the remaining land somewhat recently. I actually own an investment property here on the 5th floor. What makes the 5th floor nice is it was originally supposed to be the penthouse level and the ceilings are a over a foot higher than the lower floors. The building was also going to be hotel until the developer decided to sell as cooperative units in the late 1950's just prior to statehood.
