Neighborhood information about Upper Hahaione Valley: What I love about the back of Hahaione Valley is it literally stays green all year around. Set with Koolau Mountains as the backdrop, this is the only section of Hawaii Kai that doesn't seem to lack its share of rain - which keeps the vegetation lush. Unlike the lower valley that has some homes and some condos, upper Hahaione Valley is pretty much all single family homes. Another bonus -due to the topography, many of the homes have incredible views of the ocean and Portlock Point. The lots also tend to be larger than the ones in the lower part of the valley and tend to fetch higher prices.
If you live in the back of Hahaione Valley, you may spend a few extra minutes on commute time. However, you can also have more privacy. You also can quick access to community parks and all the conveniences that Hawaii Kai has to offer. If you have more interest in Hahaione Valley, feel free to contact me for more information.
