Search All Ewa Plain MLS Listings here - The Ewa Plain region for real estate on Oahu encompasses not only the city of Ewa Beach, it also includes Honolulu County's "2nd City" of Kapolei and the resort community of Ko Olina. In addition to the Ewa Plain having some of the newest construction on the island, it will also continue to have the highest concentration of new construction on the island for many years to come. There are entitlements in to build many more homes and condos. The two largest developers are Gentry Homes and Haseko in Ewa Beach and Centex Homes built three of the projects in Ko Olina. DR Horton is also involved in building some of the projects in Kapolei.
In addition to new home contruction, the Ewa Plain is experiencing a boom in new infrustructure, shops and parks. The main artery in and out of Ewa Beach is Fort Weaver Road, which recently underwent an expansion from two lanes to three on either side. There's also a new Safeway to be built on the horizon, which will give residents another alternative to Foodland and Costco.
As you head to the beach in Ewa Beach, it won't take long to notice the prime real estate was initially developed along the water. You'll typically find the oldest homes on the Ewa Plain in either the MLS neighborhood of Ewa Beach or Westloch. Hoakalei is an outlier to the rest of Ewa Beach in the sense that it is a development near the beach and is currently one of the hottest selling projects on Oahu.
