Neighborhood Information about Kapolei Knolls: Kapolei Knolls is a section of homes on an upslope knoll/hill across Farrington Hwy from Kapolei Malanai and is bordered by H-1 Freeway on the back side. Homes were developed between 1998 though 2005 and built in phases from east to west. What's nice about Kapolei Knolls is the lots are a little larger with R-5 zoning than other neighborhoods in Kapolei that have R-3.5 zoning (higher density). In addition, most of the homes in Kapolei Knolls are over 2,000 sq. ft. However, there are some smaller options to get into the neighborhood.

The pros and cons of Kapolei Knolls is its proximity to H-1 Hwy. It's nice having easy access to the freeway, however some of the homes set further back on the knolls can pick up on the traffic noise.
