Hoakalei - Ka Makana Real Estate

Neighborhood Information about Hoakalei Ka Makana: Hoakalei is Oahu's newest resort community. Situated on Oahu's Ewa Plain, the weather couldn't be better year around. When you travel to neighbor islands, the majority of the resorts are built on the west side of the island. For example, Kona, Waikaloa, Hualalai and Kukio on the Big Island or Kaanapali and Wailea on Maui. Oahu's only attempt at a development on the west side was Makaha, which never really took off. Ko Olina, is the only other resort that could compare to the neighbor islands. Unlike most resorts where the hotels are built first, Hoakalei is being developed by selling the residential products first. Keep in mind however, there is no lack of amenities. There is an Ernie Els signature golf course and there will eventually be a waterfront lagoon that will knock your socks off.
