Neighborhood Information about Maunawili: Maunawilii is the first neighborhood in MLS as you enter the Kailua side of the Pali from town. The access points off of Kalanianaole Hwy are via Auloa Road near Castle Junction and further down the road past Le Jardin Academy. Within Maunawili, there's a mix of agriculture, country and residential zoning. Most of the inventory consists of single family homes, however there's a small condo complex named Crater Valley.

Most of the homes in Maunawili were built between the 1960's and 1970's and some of the earlier versions were mid century modern ranch style homes.  Maunwili can be an attractive place to live if you want the lush, tropical beauty of Kailua and the windward side of Oahu, yet have easy access to town.
