The Commodore is definitely one of the most "stately" of the highrise buildings in Hawaii Kai. As you enter the lobby, you pass over a water feature that feels "zen-like" to put you in a state of relaxation. There's an extensive art collection you'll find in the common areas owned by the Homeowner's Association. The penthouses are something else and most of the other units are very comfortable. Built in 1982, you can hopefully put your Lead Based Paint and Asbestos fears behind you as it was built after the ban on the use of such materials.
