Mariners Village 3 is the third of three Mariners Village Projects developed in Hawaii Kai in the early 1970's. While phases 1 and 2 were in developed in Hahaione Valley, this last phase was built in Mariner's Valley and is by far the largest of the three. It also has the nicest amenities with a great clubhouse and swimming pool available for residents. There are also several nearby parks. The units are very spacious and offer some of the best value and square footage for your money in all of Hawaii Kai. The only others comparable would be Kawaihae Crescent East and West. Although those are closer to town, they don't have the amenities that Mariners Village 3 has to offer.
Most of the units here come with side by side covered parking underneath a carport. In addition, the carports typically offer additional ample storage, which is a plus. Unlike most condo or town home projects that in Hawaii Kai that share the same street address, Mariners Village 3 is spread out as such that every building has it's street address, which spreads across many streets. Most of the buildings come in groups of four units. Since they are wood framed construction, some of the units have had termite damage over the years, however the association is very proactive in treating for termites from what i've heard. Once again, Mariners Village 3 offers one of the best square footage values for you money in Hawaii Kai and all of Honolulu for that matter.
