The Moorings is one of the earlier marina front complexes built in Hawaii Kai in 1969. While the entry to the project is off of Hawaii Kai Drive, the units can be seen from Kalanianaole Hwy. as you enter Hawaii Kai. It's also well known for its proximity to "duck island" on the marina and all the ducks that surface on the nearby banks that visitors feed. Similar to Kuapa Isle and Koko Isle, the Moorings is a project that boasts marina front living with boat docks. However, not all of the units are actually on the water. The ones that aren't are also very spacious, however obviously don't demand the higher pricing as do the ones on the water.
