Neighborhood Information about Mahalani: Mahalani is a coastal neighborhood in Kaneohe, just on the ocean (makai) side of Waikalua. Some of the homes are true oceanfront in Kaneohe Bay along Mahalani Circle, while other homes can lie up to a few blocks inland. There's also an oceanfront condo complex in Mahalani called Kauhale Beach Cove.
Most of the homes in Mahalani were built back ini the 1950's, which made them technically mid-century and some even still feature flares of mid century modern architecture. However, there's also newer builds and remodels along the way. Many of the Mahalani homes lie on R-5 zoned lots, however there are some that come up on R-10 lots on occasion.
