Neighborhood Information about Pikoiloa: Pikoiloa is one of the larger neighborhoods in Kaneohe that wraps around the backside of Windward City Shopping Center and Castle High School (where U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist Bryan Clay attended). Although some of the homes can date back to the 1930's, most of the homes in Pikoiloa were developed in the 1950's and 1960's. With most of the zoning set at R-7.5 (7,500 sq. ft. min.), the residential lots in Pikoiloa are typically larger than other parts of Kaneohe (outside of Haiku Plantation).

Pikoiloa is also typical of older Oahu neighborhoods with overhead utilities. Not all of the streets in Pikoiloa have sidewalks, however the ones that do are typically asphalt instead of concrete. Most of Pikoiloa is also pretty level, so not all of the lots have views, however there's beauty everywhere to take in having the Koolau Mountains off in the distance.
