Neighborhood information about Kalani Iki: Kalani Iki is a neighborhood in east Honolulu just off Kalanianaole Hwy. The single family homes start near the highway, work their way inland, just past Kalani High School and culminate in the back of the valley with Kalani Iki Estates. Kalani Iki Estates is a planned community that consists of approximately 20 acres. It’s like condo living in a detached single family home. Although there are maintenance fees, the upside is you don’t have to maintain a yard and there are common area amenities such as a swimming pool, recreation house and tennis courts. What also differs from a typical single family home is there are no attached garages, however the homes do have covered carports with a lovely architectural flair. There’s also a generous amount of guest parking for guests.
