Neighborhood information about St. Louis Heights: St. Louis Heights is a ridge in Honolulu just inland of Kapahulu and Kaimuki on the Mauka (mountain side) of Waialae Ave. Its topography enables most of the single family home lots to have ocean views. The perimeter lots on either side of the ridge may also have views of the neighboring valleys of Manoa and Palolo.
Due to St. Louis’ close proximity to the University of Hawaii at Manoa and nearby private Chaminade University, there are many professors that choose to call St. Louis Heights their home. There is also a private all boys school appropriately named St. Louis at the base of the hill.
