1717 Ala Wai is across the Ala Wai Canal from the Hawaii Convention Center. Built in 1970, 1717 Ala Wai is an "L-Shaped" building with the open walk ways on the back side of the building and the condo views and lanais either facing towards the ocean or towards the west. With 10 units per floor, most of the units are 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, however the '01, '06 and '10 stacks are 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom units. No matter the size of the units, they typically just come with 1 parking stall. There is some gust parking on site, however somewhat limited. There's also street parking across the street if the guest parking is full.
